LocHere, based in Cairo, Egypt, operates lochere.com. This notice explains how we handle information when you browse this website, contact us, or try its demonstrations. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@lochere.com.

Information you provide

Our enquiry forms collect your name, email address, enquiry category and message, together with any company information you provide. The homepage enquiry also accepts a phone number, preferred contact method and additional details. Careers enquiries may include the role you select. These details are sent to our team by email.

The translated sample delivery form collects your name, email, optional company and reviewed translation. Please do not include passwords, confidential documents or unnecessary sensitive personal information in messages or demonstration samples.

How we use information

We use the information you provide to respond to enquiries, discuss our services and opportunities, and communicate through your selected contact method. Delivery records help us investigate email failures. Hosting and security systems may record IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and access times to operate and protect the website.

Translation demonstrations

Text entered in the translation demonstration, including text read from a small TXT file you select, is sent with the language pair to MyMemory, with Google Translate used as a fallback. These are external translation providers. Use only non-confidential sample text; their processing may take place outside Egypt.

Selecting a TXT file reads its text in your browser; the demonstration sends that text rather than uploading the original file to permanent website storage. A translated sample is held temporarily for up to ten minutes so you can review and email it. To deliver it, the server creates a private temporary TXT attachment and removes that temporary file after the sending attempt. The recipient receives the attachment by email, and our team receives a delivery notification containing your contact details and the target language. Email logs may retain message details and the attachment filename. Copies delivered to mailboxes are separate from temporary website storage.

Service providers and external resources

GoDaddy hosts this website. Google Workspace delivers our enquiry notifications and demonstration emails. Website email delivery logs record outgoing message contents and delivery status. Some resources load from Google Fonts, and the website includes Google reCAPTCHA resources for form protection. External resource requests can disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser details.

Providers process information under their own policies, including GoDaddy’s Privacy Policy, Google’s Privacy Policy and Translated’s privacy notice, linked by MyMemory. Hosting, email and translation processing may occur in countries other than your own.

Links to Locaitra, LocReach, social networks and other websites lead to separate services. Review their notices before submitting information there.

Cookies

WordPress uses cookies for signed-in users, authentication and administrative preferences. External resources may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. See our Cookie Policy for details and browser controls.

Retention

Our enquiry email retention period is three years. Records needed for an ongoing business relationship, a dispute or a legal obligation may require longer retention. Outgoing website email logs are currently configured for automatic deletion after two years. Temporary translation records expire after ten minutes or are removed after successful delivery.

Hosting logs, backup copies and records of completed service projects follow their separate operational or contractual retention arrangements. They do not follow the temporary demonstration expiry. Contact us if you need information about a particular record or its deletion.

Your requests

Email info@lochere.com to ask about information you provided, request access, correct it or request deletion. We may need to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. We handle requests according to applicable law, including any requirements to retain particular records.

Changes

We update this notice when the website’s information handling changes. The date above identifies the latest published version.
